Dance Faculty
Miss Abby
She/HerStudio Manager & Dance Instructor
With nearly two decades of dance training, Miss Abby brings a wealth of experience and a deep love for movement to every class she teaches. She has trained extensively in a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics, and more. Her teaching is supported by certifications from the Acro Dance Teachers Association (ADTA), and she thoughtfully incorporates elements from several respected syllabi including DiscoverDance, Acrobatic Arts, Alixa Flexibility, and the Performing Arts Educators of Canada. This diverse foundation allows her to deliver well-rounded, developmentally appropriate classes that challenge and support dancers at every level.
Miss Abby is passionate about creating a positive, welcoming, and inclusive class environment where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to grow. She believes that dance is not just about steps - it’s about expression, connection, and building confidence both in and out of the studio.
Outside of the studio, Abby finds joy in cooking, traveling the world, sipping a great cup of coffee, and spending quality time with her family. These passions fuel her creativity and help her bring fresh energy and perspective to her teaching.
Miss Erin
She/HerDance Instructor
Miss Erin grew up in Haliburton and began dancing at the age of three, training primarily in Jazz and Musical Theatre. During college, she started teaching Musical Theatre workshops, where she quickly discovered a love for Contemporary and Lyrical styles.
She is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive class environment, with a strong focus on teamwork, creativity, and collaboration. Her goal is to help every dancer feel confident, supported, and inspired.
Outside of the studio, Miss Erin enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting outdoors with her dogs, and baking.
She/HerMiss Michaela
Dance Instructor
Miss Michaela has over 10 years of dance experience and has been teaching and sharing her passion for movement with students of all ages for many years. She has trained in a variety of dance styles, completed her level 2 ballet examinations through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), and enjoys teaching acrobatics, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and technique.
Alongside dance, Michaela has nearly a decade of experience coaching gymnastics and holds her Gymnastics Ontario coaching certifications, including trampoline certification. Her background in both dance and gymnastics allows her to bring a strong understanding of technique, strength, flexibility, and performance to every class.
Michaela’s experience extends beyond the studio, with involvement in social media content creation, dance auditions, and performing on a televised dance show. She also has experience choreographing recreational and competitive routines, school musicals and competitive gymnastics floor routines.
She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment, Michaela believes every dancer deserves to feel confident, valued, and inspired. Her goal is to help each student grow not only as a dancer but also as an individual, encouraging them to embrace their unique strengths, work hard, and find joy in movement. She is dedicated to helping dancers build confidence, develop lifelong skills, and discover a love for dance that extends far beyond the studio.
Miss Shannon
She/HerDance Instructor
Miss Shannon is a seasoned instructor with over 38 years of teaching experience and creative development in therapeutic movement for individuals of all ages.
She truly believes that dance can be enjoyed by all no matter the ability or mobility. She provides a safe and empowering environment for her students and celebrates every step along their dance journey.
With her extensive training and certification through RAD, BATD, CDTA, and Acrobatic Arts Syllabuses, her repertoire includes Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre and Social Dance.
She was awarded a prestigious scholarship with The Henry LaTang School of Tap in New York City and studied Dramatic Arts (Major) at the University of Guelph; where she later served as a Professor of Ballet Dance.
Miss Shannon is accredited with piloting Therapeutic Dance Programs for Children’s Treatment Centres, both Public and Catholic School Boards and in Seniors Activity Centres across Ontario.
Outside of the studio, Miss Shannon is a Certified Family Life Coach & Consultant, a Certified Reiki Practitioner and an avid Public Speaker for the awareness and education of Synesthesia. You’ll also find her refinishing furniture and old school roller-skating in her free time.

She/HerStella F.
Camp Leader
Stella, an Omnes dance alumni, is currently studying neuroscience at the University of Guelph. Despite her focus on science, she continues to stay deeply connected to the arts, with a particular passion for dance and music. With several years of experience as both a camp counselor and a student teacher at Omnes, Stella is thrilled to continue sharing her love for the arts with the next generation of dancers.
This summer, she’ll be bringing her energy and expertise as a camp leader in Perth, where she’s excited to help campers unlock their creativity and have fun. Her diverse background in both the arts and sciences gives her a unique perspective, and she’s committed to creating a positive and engaging environment for everyone!
Kendall H.
She/HerCamp Counsellor
Kendall is a dedicated 10th grader heading into 11th next year, where she plans to take a variety of social science courses and continue her French studies with the goal of earning her French certification. She’s also excited to serve as secretary on student council next year!
Outside of school, Kendall is passionate about all styles of dance, enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She has been volunteering and working at Omnes for the past 3 years, where she’s eager to continue expanding her leadership skills and gaining experience in a professional setting.
In addition to her work at summer camps, Kendall babysits and assistant teaches at the dance studio. She is looking forward to another summer of learning and growth, and is excited to make meaningful connections with the campers.
Polly P.
She/HerCamp Counsellor
Polly is so excited to be back at Omnes this summer! She’s been a dancer here for the past three years and joined the staff team last year. A true lover of the arts, Polly enjoys dancing, singing, and acting, and brings great energy and creativity to every group she works with.
She’s passionate about helping kids feel confident and included, and can’t wait to share her love of performing with this year’s campers. Polly is looking forward to another fun-filled summer of connection, creativity, and camp memories!
Sophie S.
She/HerCamp Counsellor
Sophie is entering her fourth year as a dancer at Omnes and is so grateful to be part of the community. She also works as an assistant dance teacher and loves sharing what she’s learned with younger dancers. Whether she’s in the studio, playing sports, or spending time with friends and family, Sophie brings enthusiasm and positivity to everything she does.
This summer, she’s excited to bring that same energy to camp and is looking forward to helping campers feel confident, creative, and most importantly—have fun!
Alaina H.
She/HerCamp Counsellor
Alaina is thrilled to be working at Omnes this summer! She brings a huge passion for all things creative—whether it’s reading, musical theatre, dance, or art. She’s especially passionate about music and has been learning to play both the drums and the harmonica.
Alaina loves dancing competitively and it’s one of her absolute favorite things to do. Her energy and excitement are contagious, and she’s all about making sure everyone has fun while exploring their creativity. She can’t wait to help campers tap into their own artistic talents and have an unforgettable summer!
